The Theft

(So here we are waiting for the shops to open so that we can buy a map, rent a bike and whoosh away across BBSR - HR)

“Hey I think u need some rest” – Aaliya

(I think she has become a bit considerate after the last incident- HR)

“Yes, I feel so as well, what do you suggest we do?? “ – HR

(What is she planning this time – HR)

“I think we should take a room for some time, you can rest and once the markets are open we can proceed and by that time, your hand might also become right” – Aaliya

(Am I lucky or what?? I have never shared room except with the ‘homies’ in the college hostel or the toy figure of Price ADAM aka HE-MAN at home and of course some posters on my wall of Manisha Koirala and Madhuri :P –HR)

“Am ok with it, if you are fine” – HR

“Yup am good, but don’t try to mess with me, m a black belt 2^nd Degree ;) “– Aaliya

(A wink again, is she suggesting something or joking, I should check before I get into some trouble – HR)

“I can’t believe you unless you show me some moves” – HR

“Here you go” – Aaliya

(Weird sounds coming from her- HUH, WHOOSH, HIYA, SHA ….)

“Ok Ok stop, people are looking at us, u can take care of yourself but now I am worried about myself” – HR

“Don’t worry I will not take advantage of a disabled person ;)” – Aaliya

(Again the wink, I think I am going to get lucky today, ye ye ye – HR)

“Huh, ok, let’s do it then” – HR

“What !!!!” – Aaliya

“I mean lets go ;)” – HR

( Even I can play nasty baby :P – HR)

(Though the swelling is reduced but the pain is still there, I don’t know if I ll be able to do something or not :( che che che – HR)

We take our bags and walk out of the platform, ask a rickshaw puller if he can take us to a nearby decent hotel as we need it just for a few hours.

The moment I say that we need it for few hours, the rickshaw puller’s eyes look at Aaliya and then he winks at me and says sure, he would take us to a ‘safe place’ :P

So we dump our bags our feet and Aaliya puts her hand bag behind the seats and then starts our trip in BBSR. I am wondering of how I had thought that I wanted some time for myself and didn’t let any of my friends come along and here I am sharing the trip, the rick and after all the room with a person I don’t know anything about :( ,she mentioned that she is from North East, isn’t that where the militants are based out of, the ULFA or whatever :(

Even my favorite Manisha in “Dil Se” was a terrorist and she patao’s the dumb Shahrukh with her beauty and awesomeness … But naaaah. Shahrukh is dumb, not me …I can handle stuff …

“BHAM, AIYIIIIIIOOO, Ohhh Shit”

Ok, firstly they were 3 different sounds made by 3 different actions,

1.      The first sound was of the rick falling in the MOTHEROFALL pothole

2.      The second sound was that, as a result of the first action I banged into the side of the rick and hurt my hand and it started to pain even more

3.      The third action was when Aaliya saw a cow chewing on plastic

(WTF, here I am crying in pain and all she is worried about is the cow chewing on plastic, how dumb  -HR)

“Oh sorry sorry, I dint notice, howz ur hand” – Aaliya

“Just ok, another pothole like it and it would have definitely broken” – HR

“Sir, your hotel has come, let me help with your luggage” – Rick Puller

“Wait let me check if there are rooms available or not” – HR

“Arre Sir, there are always rooms available in the day, it’s in the nights that the rooms are packed :P” – Rick Puller

“Aaliya, can you please take the bags in while I pay the rick guy” – HR

“Yup, but come fast, this place doesn’t look very good” – Aaliya

Once I pay, I enter the non-existent lobby of the hotel and see Aaliya standing there; she looks at me and smiles.

I speak to the manager and tell him that we have just reached BBSR and need a room for few hours before we start the journey and also tell him that we need to rent a bike for the trip.

He says he will manage all that and asks us to show our Proof of Identifications.

I take out my DL and show it to him but I notice Aaliya is looking worried and searching for something. And then I realize that she has forgotten her hand bag behind our seats...

I rush out to see if the rick guy is still there, but, he has disappeared….
